Under the authority of the production supervisor, the warehouse worker is responsible for preparing orders and receiving goods.

Main Responsibilities :

• Handling goods using overhead cranes or forklifts
• Unloading trucks
• Checking materials
• Identifying materials
• Placing materials in the correct locations, taking into account storage space capacity.
• Preparing orders in accordance with the instructions on the work slips
• Thoroughly inspecting materials (correct label, correct materials, quality)
• Following the special instructions on the work slip
• Packing materials for shipment according to customer requirements or procedures
• Keeping the premises clean at all times
• All other related duties

Education and training:

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Forklift operator training (preferred)
• Overhead crane operator training (preferred)

Job Description :

Under the responsibility of the production manager, the warehouse supervisor's role is to assist the production manager in managing and monitoring processing operations. The processing supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling daily processing operations.

In addition, the warehouse supervisor will also be responsible for supervising employees, enforcing company laws and policies, and managing health and safety prevention.

Responsibilities :

Participate in production planning:

• Prepare materials for the band saw and plasma drill cutting tables.
• Thoroughly inspect materials and equipment (correct labeling, correct materials, quality).
• Write production reports.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Make recommendations on production organization.
• Adjust production organization according to the situation.

Human resources management:

• Assign tasks to workers.
• Supervise workers in their daily tasks.

Requirements:

• Education: Professional - Completed vocational training in a relevant field
• Years of experience: 0-2 years
• Written languages: Intermediate French / Spoken languages Intermediate French

Conditions:

• Schedule: Evening shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
• Competitive salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year depending on experience

Job summary

Reporting to the operations manager and coordinator, the driver is responsible for delivering materials to various customers; monitoring the condition of equipment, loading, and unloading; recording information on distances traveled, fuel consumption, etc. in the logbook; and receiving and transmitting information to the dispatcher. In short, all transportation regulations.

Main duties

• Drive and make deliveries to various customers throughout Quebec
• Check vehicles before departure (safety check)
• Comply with and respect laws and traffic signs
• Plan your route and respect appointment times
• Keep various records up to date
• Secure the load on the truck
• Hitch and unhitch according to procedures and rules
• Ensure the vehicle is clean at all times (inside and outside)
